The Ivor Novello Awards 2008
Amy Winehouse has bagged another award
Amy Winehouse has bagged another song writing award after picking up an Ivor Novello at the glitzy ceremony in London.
She was up for three - two in the catergory she won - Best Song Musically and Lyrically for 'Love Is A Losing Game'. Producer Mark Ronson, who's worked with her, recently pulled the plug on their collaboration on the new Bond film but told Virgin they haven't fallen out.
The 53rd Ivor Novello Awards celebrate British music writing and are presented by the British Academy of Composers & Songwriters in association with The Performing Right Society.
The Ivors are internationally respected as the premier award ceremony to reflect the talent of British songwriters and composers and their contribution as the creative source of the music industry's prosperity.
