The Rolling Stones

Shine a Light premiere coverage

Last night London saw the UK’s biggest movie premiere event of the extraordinary motion picture Shine A Light in which the Oscar winning director Martin Scorsese captures the biggest band in the world.

Shine A Light puts you in the front row, lifts you up onto the stage and takes you behind the scenes for an ‘access all areas’ backstage pass to the heart of the Rolling Stones.

Leicester Square played host to Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie and a host of other stars at the red carpet event. But it wasn’t played to just a few hundred people in London. Instead for the first time, the entire event was beamed live, via satellite to a hundred specially selected cinemas across the UK, allowing others to be a part of it.

We were down on the red carpet to bring you all the coverage, check our interviews, photos and the movie trailer.
